OT - for a quick laugh

7'0"/360 lbs./Freshman

cant cover the corner 3, JB says pass, lol.

Yeah Connor is from Victor, NY. I thought he should have went the football route, not sure if he plays that at SJF

Just a note- it's a funny clip. Clearly a kid living out his dream playing college ball. A dream many never realize. Just adding as I don't think we have to walk on eggshells to have a chuckle. If he does drop like 100 lbs he will be playing D1.

I enjoy a lot of your posts but not this one. I just can't bring myself to laugh (ridicule) at some kid's expense. Laugh with? Yes. Laugh at? No. I just felt bad for the guy and admired him putting himself out there. I wonder how hard you'd be chuckling if we were all laughing at your son's misadventures. The fact is, you're laughing at his size, not the fall and getting up. That happens all the time.

Good lord. Respectfully, thanks for making this more than it ever was. I have pretty good grounding for even sharing something like this. FYI the kid commented and had a good laugh at his own blooper on IG. Seemed quite secure and thrilled to be enjoying being a college basketball player.

This kid is from my hometown and scored about 20ppg his last two years of high school and led the team to the Sectional finals. He was also an All Greater Rochester OT in football. He’s not a joke—the kid can actually play, especially at the DIII level at 7 feet tall. He’s not graceful, but he has good hands, a good outside shot and is a good passer.

Check out this article from Democrat & Chronicle:

At 7-foot-1-inch, this Victor athlete draws big attention from all, including colleges

Throw a couple Krispy kremes out there and he might.

With that guys size, strength and athleticism, he should be in the o-line development program at Syracuse.
