With the holidays upon us I would like to share a personal experience with
you about drinking and driving after a "social session" with friends.
Well, this past Saturday, I was out on a pre-Holiday's evening with
long-lost friends. I had a few cocktails, followed by a handful of glasses...
of vintage red wine. Despite the jolliness, I still had the sense to know
that I was over the limit. That's when I decided to do what I have never
done before: I took a cab home.
Sure enough, there was a police road block on the freeway but, since it was
a cab, they waved it past. I arrived home safely without incident. This was
a both a great relief and surprise because I had never driven a cab before.
I don't even know where I got it from and, now that it is in my garage, I
don't know what to do with it.

Happy New Year!

That was some good work, thank you! In my current condition it may have taken me a bit longer to get it, but it made it funnier. Good work

Sometimes I don't know when to stop. If you knew a good paint shop we could convert it into a covert party vehicle for times when y'all need to get away from your loved ones for awhile. I could be the Captain if necessary. If we could get it bullet proofed for partying at away games, I think it could prove useful. Like the batmobile before it, it could be dubbed the Orangemobile. Modifications could be made as paychecks warranted. The vehicle could evolve in both body and personaility as we saw fit. I have no rules against fans of other teams in it, although I'd probably be biased toward females. I'd be allowed to smoke the e-cig I smoke when I like to drink in the car. Of course I wouldnt be driving if I were drinking in the car. I was picturing other varied possibilities. If a dog wanted to pee on it, I wouldn't scold him, as it really does no harm. I'd actually revel in it as it adds character to the vehicle. We'd make it so fine that the ladies would be looking at us as we drove by and thinking that we were very interesting gentlemen, and possibly dumb enough to mooch a few rounds off of. But we might not mind. Til we found out they were merely playing us. Still then, we may not mind. When you are focused on your mission, the path isnt necessarily as important as the destination. We could keep this in mind when partying and rooting for our team. GO CUSE!

Seriously, now that my head has cleared up somewhat, it's even better. Man, if you have any more of those in you, share them with the world! Im more sober now so I think they say it's value is higher or some nonsense like that. Possibly the only thing that could outdo that is if BRNCUSEFVRCUSE escaped from whatever basement he is being held in and could make at least 1 post before they recaptured him.

Its amazing how things have changed from when we were younger. Now even if I've only had one I generally avoid driving at all costs.

That said your story reminded me of a time when I was young and wasted that I (allegedly) got into a car that was sitting in a driveway running (obviously waiting for someone to come out of the house) I drove it about 2 miles parked behind a minimart, locked the keys in it, bought some junk food and walked home. I say allegedly because I really vaguely remember this.

My New Year's Rockin Eve agenda: 6-8 pm: Cuse game 8-10 pm: Watch two episodes of House of Cards on Netflix with the Mrs. 10:15 pm: be fast asleep I'm legitimately excited about all of this.

I couldn't tell you the last time I stayed awake for the ball dropping. I'm sure Dick Clark was still dancing though.

I can't remember the last time we left home on New Year's Eve. Just too many bad things can happen.

Ehhhhh, been sick since the day after Christmas, no sleeping, no eating, light drinking, no talking, pretty much haven't been able to do anything but roll around in bed drooling all over myself moaning hoping not to crap myself. Got so bad tonight that I had to come down to the ER here at St Joes, might get to see the ball drop after all! In all of my 36 years I can honestly say I've never felt even remotely close to this ill.

Was lucky enough to catch the game on my phone so that was a plus.

Bummer. Get well.

i hear ya bud. Just bought one of those $20 Costco breathalizers as it's just not worth Fing around with this type thing anymore. And I just heard they're dropping the NY legal limit to .06 next year from .08. Progress, I guess.
