Axe's Producer and SU Post-Game host specialist on The Score is moving on to host his own show in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Good luck!

Deep in UVA territory, and close to Orange, VA. :)

I wish he was hosting here, he seems like he's going to be pretty good. I wish we had a two man format during that timeslot.

Dammit. I was hoping he would take over for Lindsley at some point. Sigh...well good for him

Good for him. He's a good kid and I enjoyed his work. Too bad he couldn't have stayed local.

In all seriousness, how many guys have used Brent's show as a launching pad from Newhouse Intern to their own program? Barret, Parkins...and someone else I think. Kudos to Axe for that.

I didn't even know Parkins came from Axe's show. Guess I hardly ever watched/listened then.

I believe Parkins started as his producer...then got bumped up to the noon time-slot. This was around the time when 1260 & ESPN parted ways and the station had more airtime to fill.

Yeah. Parkins interned for Axe in college and guest hosted a few times his senior year. Then left and came back for the noon slot when the Score was formed.
