OT guilty pleasures favorite cheesy 80's songs

this was my favorite song SO (first cd i ever bought) and was on the setlist when i saw him live at OWM 1986

Can you do this when you post a song ... [song: Song Name]. It will go on the list and won't be duplicated.

Heard this while watching American Psycho last night. Loved this song and I am slightly ashamed I have not posted it until now.

[song: what's on your mind (pure energy)]

Some more Tragically Hip from their first full length release in 1989. Like most Americans, I didn't get into these Canadian rockers until much later after they played Woodstock 1999.

[song: 38 years old]

Another Hip offering, this time live (awesome band live). This is one of cowtown's favorites. As a long time resident of Canada, he's uniquely qualified to know their greatness.

[song: boots or hearts]

Last one from the Hip.

[song: new orleans is sinking]

Probably my favorite singer from the 80s. This performance is what first turned me onto Luther.

[song: a house is not a home]

Bastards of Young - The Replacements

Left of the Dial - The Replacements

Another Luther Vandross offering. Used to work as a caterer and have heard this one as the couple's first dance a thousand times. Still a great song.

[song: here and now]
