OT: How 'bout them Bills!

Said to my father in law before the last drive that the bright side is they will finally give up running the ball

Richardson and Glenn were so bad, I couldn't believe it

Richardson is a mess but Urbik is the backup Center so we can't play him at guard...?

What do you think of Boobie Dixon and Bryce Brown? I feel awful for Spiller but honestly, he's been a drive killer aside from a chunk play here and there with his negative runs. Part of me think we're better off without him because this offense needs to be in 2nd/3rd and manageable's to sustain drives (unless its the end of the game apparently). We can talk about how this offensive line isn't making any running lanes but how do FJax and Dixon find them yet Spiller can't?

If these guys can get positive yardage and not put us behind the sticks, I think it will make both Orton and Hackett look better.

Marrone has zero clue how to use spiller. You know who did? Chan gailey. As conservative as that man was, he utilized him correctly- in space, screen pass, misdirection. Sure his touches were low, but that's fine. He averaged 6 ypc! Marrone thinks spiller should be pounding it between tackles. It's not his game.

Criminally misused.

that being said, big win. Watkins stud. Defense timely plays.

Need to cut down the turnovers though, they kill our drives badly

Nate Hackett is the WORST. HCDM is quickly irritating the crap out of me with his constant boneheaded coaching. I know I should have known better, but man are they a brutal combo.

Agree 10 times over... I thought Saint Doug was a crappy game day coach here but he is much worse with the Bills. Hackett has just been a disaster like he was most of his time here. I am beginning to think that their last 6 games here they caught lightening in a bottle and this is what they truly are... Extremely conservative, no feel for the game, have poorly disciplined teams, poor attitude that leaves a bad taste in fans mouths.

Whaley has done a good job putting the team together. Schwartz, although his lack of blitzing is maddening at times, has an ultra talented defense playing as such. Marrone has a team that commits a ton of penalties and turns the ball over while Hackett has zero feel for the game and if I, while sitting on my couch knows what's coming on early downs, so does the opposing defense. This is a pass first league and we have a QB who can throw it with a seriously good group of WRs. STOP running it all the time on first and second down.

Also, what is the deal with the guard position? Their has to be better options. Those two positions are collapsing the entire line.

I think Orton is capable of being an above average QB on this team if he chills out with the turnovers and gets marginally better Offensive Line play. He's basically averaging 300 yards, 2 TD's per game. If Hackett ever opens it up before late in the 3rd/4th quarter, those numbers might be even better.

Orton has to stop with the sack fumbles, its killing us.

The lack of blitizing by Schwartz is maddening, I know he stated that he prefers to get pressure by the front four but how many third and longs have we had this year where he just refuses to blitz. Killed us against the Pats last week and burned us a few times yesterday as well.

Hard to blame the turnovers on Marrone and the staff, those two WR fumbles were awful and that fumble sack by Orton was absolutely ridiculous. Love what Orton brings as a QB to the Bills but my god he has zero ability to move or scramble at all, makes Jim Kelly look like Cam Newton.

The Oline is really hurting this team but im struggling on where to place the blame. The organization brought in 3 linemen this year including spending a two on the kid from Bama who clearly cant play Tackle. They have moved him to Guard and apparently he has looked better. Losing Williams for the year really hurt we just dont have a ton of depth. Hopefully Cyrus comes along at Guard we obviously need to take a look at getting another guy via the draft or FA next year.

Chris Williams may have had a low PFF grade but the line looked pretty good with him in there. I like our young tackles and Wood is good but our guards are absolutely collapsing the o-line. Urbik is an immediate upgrade over both of them but Marrone won't start him because he's the backup interior lineman/center. Also, Hackett could help out by not being so predictable. Marrone is an offensive line guy, I keep expecting him to figure this out but so far, no evidence of that despite some talent there.

funny that orton threw for 105 yards on the last drive
He was phenomenal on that drive. I'm not saying he's elite so please, no one take this that way, but that drive was elite. Not many QBs can do that.

i am praying he's rich gannon. lousy first few years, everyone forgets about him, becomes really good but not quite great in his 30s for 4 or so years.

yeah, gannon went to a number of pro bowls and i believe was even the MVP of the league 1 year.

and he did it obviously during the Peyton era and when brady was cheating his freakin arse off every year to win and put up gaudy #s.

My god, why defensive lines don't run stunts against our offense on every single play is beyond me. The offensive line literally turns into lost pee-wee players when D-lines run stunts against them. It's almost like they've never even heard of the concept of a stunt before, so they have never practiced how to play against them.

I still detest Sirgusa for belly flopping on Gannon in the AFC title game.
