WTH!! Was so looking forward to NO/ Minn from my couch.

You might want to check FoxSportsGo.com

That's how I watched the Daytona 500 when Time Warner pulled the same crap.

Or just hook up an antenna as I mentioned above (OTA).

it’s always good to have a backup... especially with the Super Bowl looming...

To be fair, it's probably not FIOS or, in the past, Time Warner that should be faulted. The company that owns the channels is probably trying to increase the cost for purchasing them by an astronomical amount. Something similar happened with my ABC on AT&T over the summer. The company that owns the rights to ABC in my area was trying to charge AT&T something like 6x what the had been paying. AT&T had approved a significant price increase, but the ownership company turned them down.

Something is going on at Fox in general. Sling TV lost Fox and it's sports networks for a while as well.

It’s not Fox in general, just certain affiliate owners. The Syracuse affiliate is owned by Cox Media Group.

The Atlanta-based company is also a mid-sized cable provider, but due to laws can’t be one in the Atlanta market.

C'mon guys...if you want to discuss cable problems, take it to the "cable problems" section. ;)
Lovin my youtubetv. 70+ channels, all your local channels, all, and I mean all of the espn's (regional coverage...that's key), and acc network...in other words, with youtubetv, you get every single network the SU may be on. Free cloud dvr storage as well. $50.00

How many concurrent steams/devices are included for $50?

it's 3 streams at once for $50 within your household. Can also add on Starz, Showtime, and some more obscure sports channels too, for more $

Just cut the cable cord myself. Went from a $170 bill for FIOS internet +TV to $39.99 FIOS internet and YoutubeTV for $49.99 a month for a total of $89 a month.

Couldn't be happier. If the cable companies were smart they would nix the equipment rental which was costing me about $45 of that $170. I would have considered staying with them. Funny thing was that I had 7 year old equipment I was renting for the same as someone would pay for brand new equipment and paying the same. Such a scam.

How’s YouTubeTV? My beloved PlayStation Vue is shutting down at the end of the month and I’m looking for a replacement. By all accounts YouTube is the most similar interface, DVR, and channel lineup. I already have the extra digital antenna for local channels just in case I need it.

YouTube tv is awesome. I’m about four months in right now. All major networks are local as well. DVR system
Is different but works well, and records locals. Couldn’t be happier.
