Cooke was the best player that I ever saw in HS before LeBron. Been hearing rave reviews for this documentary and can't wait to see it.

Its a really interesting story. I liked the ESPN special about him from a couple of years ago--this movie will probably go into a lot more depth.

That is a helluva trailer.

And a mighty damn sad story. Really hope that it becomes mandatory viewing for stud recruits when they are 16 years young.

I cannot wait for this. I was courtside for the Cooke - Lebron abcd camp game. Hope that footage is part of the documentary. Amazing camp game.

Someone posted a very good article this past week about entitled high school players , bad attitude, habit of listening to the wrong people and their lack of discipline, effort at recent high school all star tournaments. This Lenny Cooke story sounds like a sad sequel to that article.

No release date yet but will keep you posted. They just had about 4 screenings for it in Manhattan last week.
