Maybe Lydon was a bad fit for JB’s offense? I wonder if he would have been more productive in a wide open style like UNC, Notre Dame or Duke.

Define “bad fit.
Is that before or after he played a pivotal role as a freshman on an experienced team that went to the Final Four?
Or as the mismatched, “playing out of position” centerpiece on a hodgepodge team of transfers and freshmen, that played little defense and didn’t gel?

Fair points. I think using him in the post with a point guard who refused to throw the ball inside didn’t help his cause and i think he would have been better served in an offense that didn’t stress ISO ball.
