Assembly Democrats won't advance the bill. Only two states don't allow the bouts: New York and Connecticut. I guess they aren't interested in additional ways to raise revenues. Instead, just take it out of my pocket. Whatajoke!!!

“The consensus was no,” said Assembly Majority Leader Ron Canestrari, D-Cohoes. “I’m glad. I think it’s barbaric. One one hand we’re taking steps to reduce bullying in schools, but would endorse an activity that is blatantly violent.”


What!!! does bullying in schools have to do with a competition which usually ends with two guys shaking hands and hugging.

Also, we just hand a bounty issue in the NFL, better ban that, AM I RIGHT???
