OT: Music alert, Sandy Benefit concert on now, find it!

Is that a leather skirt or some kind of kilt made from a Hefty bag Kanye is sporting?
 
Anyone else feel like Clapton held back tonight? I've seen him play on stage with multiple acts many times, and he always seems to be hesitant to let it rip. I've probably seen him live by himself about 10 times and that's the only environment I've ever really seen him get after it. I've seen it all live... grunge, hippie rock, blues, jazz, etc. I have to say that Clapton, when he wants to, HE LAYS DOWN THE LAW.

They were great - even though Roger's voice isn't what it used to be, that was a great set. Pete is the man.

Thought the Stones sounded good but are quite scary to look at.

Don't think I've ever listened to a Kanye song and once I saw him wearing a skirt I didn't bother to try this time either.

The Paul and Nirvana set should be interesting.
 
But was there anything funnier tonight than the Adam Sandler (comedy) song?! (basically from the same cloth as his famous Hannukah song)

A few of my favorite lines :

"Like when Sanchez fumbled into an ass"

When I watched that Kanye set, I thought I was having a seizure. Lights, loud noise and couldn't make out anything. What was that?
 
Found it late... Kanye, wow that was bad. Idk what was up with the kilt, or him sprinting around like a mad man.

I went ahead in the guide thinking they would re run this.. Got to 8pm tomorrow, and nothing. No good.

Kanye was a victim of the crowd. He's incredible live with an audience that responds to him, but tonight was not the night to have him perform. His set list could've been better for the crowd, and I'm especially disappointed that he didn't use Chris Martin to perform Homecoming together.
 
surprise coming out of retirement performance by michael freaking Stipe doing losing my religion! That was sweet.
 
Why is QT dressed like he is 19? And mean mugging the camera? Lol

got to agree with this.

stones were extremely underwhelming. Sir Paul couldve chose better songs. with that lineup, kanye had no business being there, none. waste of time. shouldve dropped him and begged Led Zeppelin, who are still in town, to do the last set with Grohl on drums. alicia keys held her own, girl got pipes. i still laugh at bonjovi but, him with the Boss (and vice versa) was great and it felt 'right'. his songs have stood the test of time. maybe next time the wife goes to Giants Stadium to see him, ill tag along. i love Hallelujah and Sandler was awesome.

i dvr'd it. will watch over the holidays a few times.

other than jovi, kanye, alicia, and sandler/schaffer, i have seen every single person who performed...headline at MSG, kinda weird. :noidea:

OK the censor deserves to get fired, Everyone in the world know's what's coming when The Who perofrm Who Are You and the guy blew it by about 6 seconds, not that I cared but damn. The Who were amazing and to think they are older than my father-in-law is amazing.
