So sad. Plus being diagnosed at just 39 with what became such an aggressive case of breast cancer. Credit To Georgetown for appointing her as head coach while battling cancer since she was just hired only 6 months previous to her passing. Wonder if the quick advance of her cancer was unexpected.

That's really sad. It's turns out looking at their roster that one of their players is a 5th year senior from Lake George, NY. Her dad, is the long time football coach and in the bio, says he played at Syracuse and Holy Cross. Her mom played hoops at Keene State and tragically she passed away last year. How sad for everyone.
