The world without Leonard Nimoy? That just seems illogical. I'll always remember him, aside from Star Trek, as the voice from "In Search of...". I loved that show as a kid. He made every episode seem a slight bit scary.

Ditto. It is so hokey by today's standards, but I loved it when I was a kid. I remember watching the episode on Bigfoot at my grandparent's camp on Otisco Lake, and feeling scared about the prospect that he might be lurking in the nearby woods...

My favorite Spock moment was when a renegade Starship Commodore Decker wouldn't return command of the Enterprise,
so Spock threatened to have him arrested.

dude, i didnt sleep for a month after that...and basically slept with one eye open for years at our camp on Saratoga Lake in the 70s'-80s.

bigfoot paranoia was a huge part of my childhood.

between that show and the Six Million Dollar Man constantly going at it with him...good lord, how did anyone sleep?

i know the younger generation doesnt understand how he became such a big deal. star trek a show that was never that popular lived on syndication forever, produces mutliple sequels in the movies.

i watched mission impossible as a kid but didnt know he was on 49 episodes.. i remember in search of.

he was in a ton of classic tv shows over the years and the voice in many other things
