ASU is where head coaches go to die. Remember Bill Freider? Left Michigan right before the 1989 tourney to go to Tempe, then interim coach Fisher wins the title with the help of a BS foul call against Seton Hall in the final.

I believe Jim Boeheim was ASU's first choice when they hired Frieder. I am sure ASU went after JB hard at some point years ago anyway.
