OT - See the font on the back of the Louisville jerseys?

Noticed that the last game they had. I appreciate the totally reimagined look, but the letters are teensy tiny.

Adidas has done some awful things this year...so glad they are doing the NHL jerseys. :bang:

Completely agree, every uniform I see that looks horrendous I've started looking for the adidas logo and typically it's there. The "patterns" they are putting on the shoulders of a lot of jerseys looks cheap and plasticky.

If the Speedflex helmets (the ones with the flexy sections, like ours) become popular, how are they going to do them for teams with stripes, like Clemson?

They already do. It's not as distracting as you'd think. image-68939186.jpg

That font is a disaster. How does that fit with Louisvilles branding? Are they fielding a team of medieval monks?

Clemson has Nike jerseys, their classic look. How come Nike hasn't 'ed them up yet?
Apparently they tried to at one point. But the University told them to step off. Nike wanted to get rid of the paw print helmet logo

It is building up to be a good finish.
I wonder if Louisville could end up going 1-11, with a lone win over Wake?

The font suggests they identify themselves as the Pirates of Papa John's Stadium. Too bad they were just pillaged by the Tigers. LOL Petrino. That guy can't lose enough.

To be fair - that paw print may be the ugliest p5 logo on existence.

Watching Dabo dance is vomit inducing.

Indeed. I had to lunge for the remote to change the channel.

LOLlvll is finding new and creative ways to lose every week.
Hope they save one for our game.

I will say that Louisville QB Bolin throws a hell of a ball. One of the tightest spirals I've ever seen.

On another note, that crowd was huge last night in Louisville on a Thurs night. What.

Medeival like, and terribly small. I can barely read the names on TV . Awful

Clearly Louisville leads in the ugly chase.

But the Cardinals have a number of worthy opponents.

Ok...had to post this story here. When is was in high school in The Albany area and during the holidays after my first year at SU, I worked in a large t shirt/sports store where we would also letter shirts and put on transfers. We would also do designs for hats.

Behind the main counter where our two heat presses were was a large board that had multiple fonts and colors. For example, there would be block letters, fashion letters, olde English letters (like the Louisville font) etc. Each one would have the letters A- and the numbers 1-6. The purpose was for people to get an idea of the choices they would have.

We also had Greek letters. The examples of those on the big board were Alpha, Beta, Delta, Gamma, etc. Six of them were featured on the Board just like the regular alphabet.

I had a sorority girl come in one time and ask if we could make her a hat with her sorority letters. I said, no problem because we obviously had the letters. She then looked disappointed and when we spoke about it, it became apparent that since she was in a house that had letters (like a Xi) that were not amongst the six on the Board, we could not make a hat for her.

I assume, under the same logic, if you wanted to make a shirt that had something other than the A- shown, you would have to wait until the end of the alphabet sale..I bit my lip though.

Did you tell her you could handcraft the unseen letters because she was so nice? You could have worked a date out of this.

cusian tells me that you need a smaller tv to see the font better.
It is like friggin crystal clear at 6 inches not 1080P but 2160P! The numbers/names pop!
