I learned yesterday that any toilet paper you use at the toilet is NOT to be put in the toilet after use. It's to be disposed of in the trash can next to the toilet.

Those poor hotel maids - you'd have to pay me six figures and provide me with a bio-hazard suit to empty those trash cans.

Sounds like a lot of folks haven't ventured to our neighbor down south either - Mexico is the same way. Heck, Costa Rica too. It's really nasty though. Makes you tip more than you even imagined.

Our hotels were very nice as well, but they did ask not to place the toilet paper in the toilet.
