Essentially an Urban Meyer hagiography.

Glossed over or ignored a ton of the bad stuff.

Ever since The Last Dance, we’ve been served these awful sports docs that are almost all PR pieces and/or have the subject as a producer (granted TLD had the latter as well).

But this was made in service of Urban and it’s terrible.

Started watching it last night while folding laundry and waiting for my kids to do their chores so they could watch some Pixar puff piece.

bomb after bomb, but I enjoyed seeing them in preseason practices.

Was so sick of Tebow back then, and really didn't need to see him again, but I will probably finish it.

Definitely add Conor to the list. I feel like his documentary came out right before he sexually assaulted a woman at a Miami Heat game. He’s not a good person.

My quick takeaways:
-Never was a Tebow guy but I respect him for being himself through and through. His whispering creeps me out though.
-Immediately googled Brandon Siler because he had me captivated and I was hoping he was a college coach.
-Comical the incidents they picked up on and others they didn’t. Also probably didn’t want lawsuits if they didn’t have independent verification of certainly true rumors/stories.
-I was thinking what team/sport from Cuse would I want to see a documentary on. First that came to my mind were: Hillsman downfall, Lax natl ships run with all their drama, and mid 80s cuse football.

Probably could do one year, titled, Syracuse 1987 and talk about mens football undefeated, Mens hoops falling short in title game, and mens lax falling to Cornell in final four.

Football team was pretty tame for the time, however the lax and hoops teams were on another level

I did enjoy seeing Dan Mullen and the references to his offensive mind. Much of the spread came from concepts of Syracuse offense that he picked up as a GA. It was also funny to see Addazio as an assistant. I just watched the first few episodes not sure if he was interviewed.

Meyer is in the same class as Briles. Not sure why he’s celebrated.
