It wasn’t an SU role. It was his. He wasn’t an official mascot. He didn’t get paid or anything. They just let him run around. I’m not even sure he’d give permission to SU to get someone else. There was only one dome ranger.

Killed off? I know the dome ranger - his health, knees etc stopped that tradition. You can always volunteer to either restart it or start your own. All you need is a cowboy suit, mask (very appropriate now) and a dream. Come on younger generation.
