What amazes me the most about this is, the man is 85 years old and has a twitter account. As for what he said, I'm not sure how to translate it.

He's implying that their lofty height has also given them a God Complex and they feel they are above reproach. Everything they print is gospel and is the truth. Well, being high on the totem pole has it's price and limits. Everyone is looking at you, so when you , it's a long way down. He thinks their pants are starting to fall with this story and the masses will soon see that SI is not so incorruptible.
