The only thing fascinating about that article is that they decided not to mention Syracuse's infamous pistol usage.

When I think of Pistol offense I don't think of Nevada. I think of the disaster that Grob and co. tried to implement.

My son's high school installed the pistol in 2007 and won the state championship and then followed that up by losing in the state championship game the following year. Our QB was not a great runner or passer but was a great ball handler and game manager (he's currently a D1 shortstop). When well executed it is tough to stop but like most offenses the key is still up front openign the correct lanes.
