There is a reason why good or great players suck as coaches. Funny how TV thinks they know what they are talking about because of their talent on the field. Do people really think because a player was good he knows what he is talking about?

but when one has a 25 year broadcasting career and gets invited to work to 2 Olympics, chances are they know What they are talking about...and 20 year old idiots on message boards whos knowledge of the game consists of 8 years of madden on playstation...should keep quiet.

It does suck. It sucks from my wallet. All the money I spend on Fantasy Football thinking that THIS will finally be the year I win everything. In all 4 leagues. All the cash I dump into crappy cable packages just so I can have NFL Network and Red Zone. It sucks my time...Monday Nights, Thursday Nights, Sunday Nights...if games were in the summer my lawn would be 6-ft high. Then all those nights in between sweating bullets as I try to decide who to start this week. And it sucks my very soul. I feel terrible hoping some guy will tear a limb off in warm-ups as I cling to a fragile 1 point lead trying desperately make my playoffs.

Believe me when I say this, the NFL most definitely sucks.

I need to win this week to get into the playoffs. Yesterday I got to watch Murray, Dez, Torrey Smith combine for 5 touchdowns, and James Jones catch a 50 yarder in garbage time...for my opponent. Luckily Baltimore D got me a single point, their second lowest total of the year.

I know everyone says it, but my luck in fantasy is truly the worst. It reminds me why I quit playing poker and will never gamble on sports outcomes.

The quality of play compared to the NFL of the 1980's and 1990's in awful. Thats what I mean. I realize free agency is good for the players but it has made the NFL a league of mediocre to bad teams. Enjoy it if you can but I don't buy into the NFL hype machine. To each their own...
