Those helmets still creep me out...

Just saw this. Wowza.

Kid didn't divulge his symptoms until 4 days after his last game.

No idea this was his 4th concussion. Just a sophomore.

More Whitmer...yowza seriously they may only win 2-3 games in the easy AAC

This game sucks. Every day, I feel more guilty for being a fan of it. I'm growing more and more convinced that football will not exist in its current form a decade from now. Thank God we're a basketball school.

Why? No one is forcing these guys to play. Injuries happen in all sports, concussions happen in soccer and hockey. happens.

If four have been reported he's probably had at least twice as many Including high school. Players learn quite early to hide these things.

"This game sucks"???:mad::eek: Please... Do us all a favor and exit this board. If that is your attitude, please keep your comments on the BB side of the forum.

No disrespect to our BB brethren. I am sure most are embarrassed by this post as am I.

It may be a little over the top but I understand what he's saying. It is a flawed game that loses several of it's very good players before the season even BEGINS. I hate the injury facet of it. The champion shouldn't be decided by the team that escaped the most injuries. And the "It's part of the Game" comment doesn't change anybody's opinion.

But it's OK when a BB player suffers a horrifying broken leg. I get it now. Thanks.

I hear recruits love them. That's all that matters I'm told.

Even more so for them. They are out of the P5 and need all the help the can get.

I was okay with your post (didn't agree with it at all) but thought you were just being a drama queen. But then you tried to 'zing' us football fans with your last line. FAIL. Go play with the children over there please. Not saying the Bball board is full of children but you know what I mean. Hmm, on second thought maybe you don't?

Edit: Forgot to add. I feel sorry for the young man. Glad in this day and age they take these seriously. Hope he moves on to bigger and better things.

His 4 concussions started in high school.

Yes, because a broken leg causes CTE and depression so debilitating players take their own lives or can't leave their bed...

Educate yourself and go read League of Denial on the NFL Concussion problem.

Talk about thrashing a guy for having an opinion about the current state of football and its future. What.

You said it much better than I did with my sarcastic reply.
