US seems to have zero luck developing young guys who are supposed to be stars, I remember that kid in the late 90's early 2000s who was suppose to be the next great thing, I think I saw him in maybe two US national games.

yeah that him, he actually scored a goal or two versus Mexico in Concacaf or whatever its called a few years ago but I havent seen him since. Also does Bradley know were the team in white, jesus.
 
just got a text that my uncle and cousin are at the game. That's gotta be a blast for a younger kid. I guess it was 56 degrees when they left for the game.

Bradley is really struggling. So is Cameron.

Don't count him out yet, although it's easy to. He still gets a lot of interest from clubs around the world. I've been rather impressed with him in the few times I've seen him play. He has a ton of skill, but doesn't have the brain to match it seems.

This. The kid needs to get his head straight and adjust his attitude, mental maturity. He better do so quickly before the game passes him by.

I really liked what I saw out of Jozy, Beasley, Zusi and Guzan.
 
Well they got the W, thats all that matters. I hope we pass better then this vs Mexico though, yikes.
 
We got the 3 points and, just as importantly maybe, Mexico and Honduras tied tonight. We went from last place to 2nd place tonight.

Definitely. Beasley absolutely turned back the clock tonight with that performance! I always loved him but was skeptical with his inclusion in this squad, but he stepped up.
 
On paper we drop points at the Azteca. However, this is football we are talking about, and once you hit the pitch you have to play. Crazy results happen all the time, club and country. Here's to three points tonight and perhaps a shock result on Tuesday. USA! USA!
 
What a crazy game that was... I think Zusi proved tonight that he's just keeping the seat warm for Landon Donovan or whoever is next. Zusi is an okay player but we need to do better on that wing. I love having Cameron as RB on that side but we are in desperate need of wingers. Even on the right Gomez is a great striker being forced to play right wing... hopefully Brek Shea takes over the right side.

3 points is 3 points... all props to the Costa Ricans for not walking off when they had the opportunity to do so
 
Need Mexico to win out vs. everyone but the Estados Unidos.
 
Watched the last half of the football. Good win for USA. Nice to see some home field advantage b/c crowds can be hit or miss. Good job everyone in Denver! Good man Dempsey!

End fo the day CONCACAF blows anyone who likes football knows this. Costa Rica can't complain the World Cup is piss easy to make in this region compared to Europe or SA.

A friend of mine my age from my hometown played with him at BC. I think Davies is still playing pro but obviously not the same. Sad story he was good and could have been a contributor. I think he's still playing football but obviously at a level where he's off a national team radar.
 
I was shocked the game actually finished... ridiculous conditions, ugly game... great to take a win...
 
Why no EPL today? It's not like there any FA cup or Europa games scheduled. Do they take a weekend off for world cup qualifying? Sorry I'm kind of a soccer noob
