Probably could have fallen in the other Plan B thread but this is more about the forward spot that will be open after Eli leaves.

We're going to nab a grad transfer. We wouldn't be host/offering/after just one and call it a day if they choose somewhere else. We have a huge hole to fill at forward and it will be a very attractive spot for a player, Towns or not.
My source (newest guy on staff...), they know they need some experience with this team to contend in the conference next year.

A lot of players haven't even announced yet that they will. Sacred Heart just had a grad transfer announce who is pretty damn good (but no 3point shot).

So if Tape and/or Towns announce and we aren't chosen, it's not the end of the world. We'll grab someone.

Dartmouth guard Brendan Berry. 6’2 from New Jersey. He got injured and set out all last season.
He is a 3-point assassin. One of the best in college basketball. .445 for his career and that’s attempting 4.4 a game.
His last full season he averaged 13pts 3ast 3reb 1stl a game.

Would be a really good PG off the bench

whoever this mystery man is, hope he's better willing & able to accept a role as a backup/rotation player than was geno thorpe. because barring anything unforeseen happening in the offseason, the starting lineup is set.

John Gillon walked into a "set" starting G lineup.

Geno Thorpe was an idiot.
An impatient idiot - his path to PT opened up like a week after he punted on his college career.

Both of these guys had an opportunity.
One was patient and seized it, the other was impatient and flushed it.

Is he of the bball royalty Barry's, or are they different spellings?

that name should not inspire confidence

Dude. Stop.

Once again, I'll ask you (as much as dredging up the horror may cause you bodily harm  )
to just *&^$$ IMAGINE THAT YEAR WITHOUT GILLON AND WHITE??!!

We're talking single digit wins.
LITERALLY NOT TEN *&^%$# games!!!

They scored nearly 30 points per game for us, and each of them nearly single-handedly won some HUGE games for us.
NCSt game for Gillon. UVA win for JAB's 1000th. and Duke win (also Gillon), Andrew White going to plaid on Senior Day vs GTech. Battle's last second shot vs. Clemson.
The year was a disappointment, but there were MANY highlights.

The Grad Transfers were NOT the problem.
