I loved he Big East but football rules. Until football disappears, SU will be in the ACC or another football dominant conference. I would really love a northeast conference but don’t see that happening.

We'd be Depaul if we were in the Big East this year.

We are FSU under Bowden at the end. This season would be ugly in a better conference. Thing with the ACC is that everyone can get better very quickly. We can bring back a better team next year but have a worse season.

We aren't a Catholic school I don't really see a fit in the NBE. But again the coach and admin have basically made us an A10 program at this point and we'll stay that way if one of the assistants gets the job after JB.

Yeah obviously this is all just fantasy land stuff, but it’s fun thinking about these sort of conferences. Things that actually make sense geographically.

We seemingly don’t bother to scout but instead make adjustments based on who’s already beating us, and on defense, the yutes take 2-3 years to learn the zone, and JB is pissed at someone on every defensive possession that ends up in points. But other than that, yeah, he’s a genius!

You watch the games, so you should be familiar with the common theme of some opposing team scrub lighting us up for a career high in threes because he can shoot but can’t do anything else, but we don’t actually focus on him or push the zone out until he’s already hurt us. And how JB and anyone who watches us pretty commonly remark that ‘it takes a while to learn the zone.’ And you watch the games and see JB turn red and scream at someone on just about every score Against us because someone didn’t do something per his ideal in the zone….

Which part of that do you disagree with?

Pretty much most of it but in particular that we don’t “scout” teams. We break down film and put together a game plan. “Scouting” is watching someone in person which nobody does during the regular season.
