College basketball is much more fluid in terms of who defends the post, because there just aren't enough centers out there anymore for *everyone* to have one. You need a mix of skills and body types. Any 240 pound guy who can defend the low post is going to find 20 minutes in the rotation, if he has any offensive skills.
