Noticed this all year, but most notably the last two games. Go and watch the replay of the play yesterday when drummond was five feet behind everyone and scored on a badly missed three.

replay several plays this game when missed threes led to gates rebounds over CJ or dirty..not fab.

what do these plays have in common? Fab actually drifts several FEET AWAY from the basket when the shot goes up...and is blocking out air.

I dont understand why he continuously does this...maybe a habit..but when a guy launches up a three..fab moves towards the shooter even if the shooter is 20 feet away, reflexively. of course we are going to get killed on the d boards when you take your biggest guy and move him away from the basket and leave poor CJ and dirty to bang with gates and drummond.

We outrebounded them, KJ had 0. Call me crazy but that's probably the problem.

Eh. Not true. Fab certainly didn't rebound well tonight, but your senior SF has to come up with more rebounds than a dead man after playing 33 minutes.

fine, a bit of an exaggeration with the all comment..but Melo needs to be much better too. he is always out of position on rebounds..the guy is horrific at finding someone to block out. that is not something that takes skill or experience. just caring enough and not looking to be the God of Goaltending

He needs to stop trying to swat every ing shot the opposition takes. He commits some really obvious goaltends.

I thought that he was pretty bad today.

Fab does 2 things that hurts his rebounding numbers. He never boxes out and he tries to get in position to block a shot too much.

It's mystifying that at some point Kris wouldn't realize that rebounding is important part of playing SF. Zero today, and yesterday he seemed to have discovered the move forever treasured by undersized dudes in the back of the zone, the blind tap on the rebound.

Now, if you're Paul Harris trying to rebound over Thabeet, fine, tip that ball out of there. If you're Joseph, going against similar sized players, not so much.

i at least understand why he tries to position himself for blocks..but what about when he just drifts out towards long distance shooters for NO reason...there is nothing good that can come from that. CJ is taking a beating because people dont realize he is not the guy that is supposed to be pulling down boards over 7 footers

jS had 6 rebounds in limited minutes. Why didn't he play more? Give me one good reason why doesn't play more than Joseph period.
