Seems like everyone on the team knew the rule but Hunt. As soon as he did it the entire Louisville team was pointing to the clock and PTG was yelling at Hunt. QB is supposed to know situations. This isn't pop warner folks...He ran by the entire length of bench on no one told him not to spike ball? That's on coaches. No one else.
Sorry but coaches should be reminding as he is running the length of bench.Seems like everyone on the team knew the rule but Hunt. As soon as he did it the entire Louisville team was pointing to the clock and PTG was yelling at Hunt. QB is supposed to know situations. This isn't pop warner folks...
Blame the coaches all you want but you have a senior on the field who doesn't know how many timeouts there are or the rules of football. Thats like blaming coaches for a baseball player not knowing how many outs there are. Pay attention to the game and have some semblance of intellect and these things don't happen like this.Sorry but coaches should be reminding as he is running the length of bench.
Lawrence Moten would be more approprriate
Need one of the photoshop wizards to put Hunt's head on Webber's body
This should be a bigger deal. The media and fans should hold the coaches accountable for this. The coaches should have had the players prepared for his. QB sneak, draw play, fade pattern to wr. a preset play for time running out needs to be ready.
Can someone explain the it thing to me? I haven't been on the forum much recently so I feel out of the loop and missed out in something good.[/http://www.syracuse.com/orangefootball/index.ssf/2014/10/george_mcdonald_play_calling.html
Fair, but there appeared to be 150 people on the sideline. There are enough people to help in this case and not for him to have it all on his shoulders with 20 seconds to go. We should know what we have in him to understand that he needs assistance in the mental side of it. As a former baseball player I made mistakes on numerous occasions, not knowing a pitch count, forgetting someone was on 3rd base, not knowing how many outs, etc. None of those things were ever blamed on the coach, its a lack of paying attention.Fair, but there appeared to be 150 people on the sideline. Maybe your coaches felt that you were a "heady" player and did not need the assistance. As a former baseball player I made mistakes on numerous occasions, not knowing a pitch count, forgetting someone was on 3rd base, not knowing how many outs, etc. None of those things were ever blamed on the coach, its a lack of paying attention.
Okay that one I give you. Hunt hasn't proven that he doesn't need to be babysat on the field. +1 for you.Maybe your coaches felt that you were a "heady" player and did not need the assistance.
We have a QB who has demonstrated that he is not ready for division 1 opponents all on his own. Our coaches should know better. Don't misunderstand me, hunt gets
a big helping of blame, but in this situation with recent rule changes in 2013, I'm laying at feet of coaches.
Thanks and please understand, I'm not disagreeing with you overall, just in this situation. There were a lot of moving pieces at the time.Okay that one I give you. Hunt hasn't proven that he doesn't need to be babysat on the field. +1 for you.
They tried to do it twice! Double **k it!!***
