Outside shooting continues to be absolutely abysmal

Hopefully Frank coming back helps solve this. I don’t understand how we continue to be the one college team that struggles to shoot year in and year out.

Transition offense is non existent as well.
That has been a problem.
Battle and Carey should be able to push it. Especially Carey now.
If you can’t shoot you would think the idea would be to run whenever you can and before the D gets set in the halfcourt.
We play slow and reduce possessions.
Which hurts us when we don’t shoot well.

Didn’t get a lot of clean def boards last seemed. Guys were bumbling balls, or they took bad bounces, or UConn got them and received a new shot clock.

Oshae was MIA on the D glass. If he doesn't board were going to be in a hell of a lot of trouble this year.

Carey pushed but struggled having a plan beyond bullrushing the hoop. Didn’t get teammates involved at all even though he was controlling pace. A little “freshman Jason Hart-y” (absent the lying on the ground in a pile after getting his shot blocked for ten minutes)
