We won an ugly game at home vs the #11 team in the country we have work to do. But 3 weeks ago, everyone said we were the most complete team in the country. Then we sucked. Then Melo came back. Now we suck.

This makes me sick. We are a top 5 team. We have every chance to win the national title. Yet somehow, coming off an ugly win, we are a bunch of scrubs.

Most people seem to forget that Georgetown is a good team who had been playing very well coming in. They've been a borderline top 10 team all year. This was a good win against a good team. No we didn't our best, but we were still able to beat a good team. To me, that's a positive.

and I agree...everyone needs to chill the out. We are 24-1, #2 in the Country, we have a huge lead in the Big East, and we just beat (barely) the #11 team, our biggest rival who always gives us a tough game, and probably the best team we've faced all year. It wasn't pretty, but I'll take it. Now let's focus on beating UConn.

I just loved that the whole thing was shot IN Syracuse.

Every team in the country has flaws. But it seems like people, even some fans, are waiting with baited breath for one of ours to manifest itself so they can pounce.

This team may win the national title. This team may get upset earlier than we would like in the Tourney.
UK may win the national title. This team may get upset earlier than we would like in the Tourney.
OSU team may win the national title. This team may get upset earlier than we would like in the Tourney.
______ may win the national title. This team may get upset earlier than we would like in the Tourney.

Georgetown is a worse matchup for us than people want to admit.
-Best defensive team in the conference
-Best zone offense team in America(thought I saw that stat n the ESPN crawl anyway)

Do we have flaws? Of course, but if the last two years(at least) have taught us anything, it’s that you don’t need to be a perfect team to win a National title and that the best regular season team rarely wins it all. You don’t need to be outstanding in every facet of the game to win it.

We are on pace to be #1 seed in the East, which means 2 games in Pittsburgh and 2 in Boston, which will mean pro Orange crowds. People can talk about Kentucky even though we likely wouldn’t see them until the national championship game, or a mysterious, unnamed 4 seed who is going to take us out, but we are in as good of shape as anyone to make a final four, flaws and all.
