My take after reading that entire list is that NewYearsDay as a bowl watching fiesta (including literally) is no more. It has been slowly dying to suit TV for a long while, but I think this will do it. I don't party so much on New Years Eve anymore anyway, perhaps I will go skiing on NewYear's and the bowls can go pound sand. Did I read that right? The CapitalOne is the "glory" bowl on Jan 1? Oh well, I am going to start making plans.

I do like his Texas/aTm matchup on the 4th. There will be bad blood and good athletes in that one.
