here's his ACC bowl pecking order:

College Football Bowls - CBSSports.com

FSU -title game
Clemson - Orange
Duke - Chick-fil-A
Miami - Russell Athletic
VT - Sun
Belk - UNC
Music City - BC
Independence - GT
Military - Syracuse
Little Caesars - Pitt (replacement)
Heart of Dallas - Maryland (replacement)

Military doesn't excite me because of the no name opponent.

I think he updated it after you posted. Now he has us in Heart of Texas vs. Rice.

Also has OSU vs FSU which I think is mathmatically impossible...

Heart of Texas is a Jan 1st bowl...much better bowl and exposure. Give me that game over the Military Bowl any day!!!!

OSU vs FSU is almost impossible now after Missouri's win last night. OSU would need to blowout Mich St and hope Missouri has a close win vs Auburn and even that might not be enough. It will be FSU vs whoever wins the SEC (Auburn or Missouri)

Bowl game fan.

Just not those afterthought ones on NFL Wildcard Weekend.

Military would have a big SU contingent too.

He's got us in Dallas now though v rice.

Jan 1st isn't what it used to be and there are only 6 games on Jan 1st these days. But if SU can be in one of those 6 games I will take it. Give me the Heart of Texas Bowl!!!

College football fans across the country will flip around and watch any game that day. That's the type of exposure you can't buy!!

If course any bowl this year is great. Military Bowl would be great for location. The name N Texas just doesn't excite though.

Thankfully the system is getting better next season. I hate OSU - but they are getting hosed. Auburn had two miracle plays to get there, while Mizzou is good but not great.

OSU has looked really good all year.

I hope that SU isn't simply relying on the ACC to lobby for them as Frazier implied in his comments in this morning's paper. Gross, Frazier and crew should be working their asses off to get SU into the best possible spot.

Shafer and the team deserve to have the folks in the SUAD earning their money by working on this, and not leaving everything in the hands of the league.

Palm just switched us to Heart of Texas Bowl, Jan. 1 vs. Rice:)
Hope he's on the pulse!

ohio state has a good chance at being in championship game over Missouri for sure, auburn is 50-50.

I have updated my bowl sheet to see what at large bowls are available:
heart of dallas
independence
poinsettia bowl
little caesars bowl
beef bowl
pinstripe only if notre dame passes on it for better

military ,independence or heart of dallas seem most likely for us

I am selfishly hoping for Pinstripe again so I can go...but I cant see it this time.

I like the idea of that Heart of Texas bowl even though we will be at a signficant crowd disadvantage. Good exposure and a team we can beat.

Does "Mean Green" make it better? Orange vs. Green in the Color Bowl.

Palm has Maryland now playing in the Military. Makes sense.

People are hammering Frazier for this, but do we know the protocol on bowl lobbying? My sense of Gross is that he's working the phone, but maybe he had already talked with the ACC before the game. It doesn't seem like a stretch for them to say that it will be a challenge to fit us into an ACC tie in game, especially when Clemson loses to South Carolina like they always seem to.

North Texas...the school that produced Stone Cold Steve Austin. And Syracuse puts up it's all time great pro wrestler Mike Rotundo! Battle of WWF legends!

Texas bowl only on espnu

God, I hope we end up in the Heart of Dallas Bowl. Then there's a slim chance I might actually be able to attend since I only live an hour away. It'd be my first in person SU football game since I graduated in 2003.

And it'd be awfully nice to see Syracuse football play in the Cotton Bowl again. I think we may have played there before at some point...

Like that matters these days? ESPNU ain't much different than ESPN2 or ESPN. And on Jan 1st most people just flip around and stick with the most competitive game anyway. And at that time of day there is little competition with other games
