Kudos to him for putting a positive face on this, but lets be completely honest - his situation is absolutely horrible. His existence sounds like a fate worse than prison. He speaks of the benefits of "killing time." He can't really communicate with his family or friends. I've worked in Moscow...

I have to break this one down a little bit.

• Great camaraderie between the contestants. Tyus had a smile ear to ear when Cooke had a nice dunk. They all seem to enjoy each other's style and are happy to see the next guy "progress" the level of difficulty.
• You have to love #9. He's the guy in the poster someone posted a while back with the crazy eyes game face rocking. Nothing wrong with that. He seems fun.
• Commentators are awesome! I grew up with Bucharian friends, kids from Georgia (not our Georgia), etc. These guys voices and intonations are full of energy. They even drop 'Michael Jordan' in there after one of TB's dunks, the last one.

Anyways, Tyus was gracious with his fellow competitors and seems so relaxed, composed and really enjoyed the experience. He always seemed poised and mature playing for SU. Another guy that had to and took on the challenge of at times, playing out of position to help out where and when needed. The only rumor stories I heard about him from a kid who went to St Joe's was that he was very cool with his classmates and well liked.
