Payne

According to York, PA band Live, he also lies on the riverside.

Oh the beautiful city of York, you can go 2 blocks off the main drag and be like how did I end up in the bad part of town, cause its almost all like that.

Yikes... that sounds pretty rugged. I've never been there but my Uncle was the hoops coach and AD there for awhile, if I remember correctly. The band Live apparently stayed closed to their roots after platinum albums and have bought some properties to renovate that would bring more jobs into town. http://www.ydr.com/ci_19755299 I always root for downtrodden places to become bustling like they once were. Here's to hope.

My wife has lots of Family around York. None of them live in York any more other than her Grandfather because its not a great place to live. You could drive through on the main drag or I83 or RT30 and not see what its really like. The area around York college and north of it is pretty nice and there are pockets here and there but over all its a pretty depressed city as far as residential area's in the city.
