Another move that would show the cluelessness of the powers that be, if it should happen. They need a total outsider.

A person familiar with the situation told the AP that former Rutgers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach Greg Schiano was not a candidate. The person said neither Schiano nor the school had interest in going through the hiring process. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the search is confidential."

Wow! Even PSU, as messed up as they are, knows enough to stay away from Ole' Smoke and Mirrors!

Back to the topic: If Johnson stays, one has to wonder how long the Paterno cult will last in Happy Valley.

Schiano was the frontrunner until PSU looked at other coaches. He pulled his offer to coach them after that.
