Penn State / Rutgers

You're right it doesn't matter. But it's putting football ahead of justice which is exactly what PSU did.

Get over it. It happened when dinosaurs walked the earth. No recruit know anything about it.

That's what Fitzpatrick's resume was before NW hired him. I wouldn't think you would want to be identified in any way with Sandusky and Pedd State.
Fitzgerald got the job because the HC at Northwestern passed away and Northwestern gave him the job because he was on staff and they couldn’t get someone outside when the head coach died in June.

Also Walker who passed away had rebuilt Northwestern they had been to bowl games 3 years in a row before he passed away.
Pat Fitzgerald comp for Syracuse is completely off base if you actually researched the circumstances around how he got the job.

Syracuse football 2020 is nothing like Northwestern in 2006.

The fact remains that Fitz's resume did not include the title of coordinator or head coach. There were other coaches ahead of him, but they took the chance on an inexperienced alumni and it has been very successful for them. And Penn State deserved and still deserves the death penalty more than any program in history.

Penn State should have been hammered because Paterno and the AD didn’t protect victims of child abuse.

Paterno got fired and his legacy took the hit it deserved.
The current Penn State football program has nothing to do with that now.

SU doesn’t ever beat Penn State for recruits. The last thing we need is Rutgers doing the same thing.

0-0 tie would have been idle but sadly look like Rutgers will lose, so I see it as a win.

Matt Millen is such a PS tool and I’ll never forget him not shaking my hand after the ‘77 game in Archbold but Bruce Clark did and I was grateful.
Hell of a GM though. ;)
