Interesting question! I am exciting about the guard we just signed who was first team all Big 10 at Michigan! She will be a key addition if she is healthy!!! The bigs that we signed were needed...but their stats are not that impressive as it relates to scoring. From the make up of our roster, it looks like we are going to have a perimeter based, 3 point shooting team. Defense is what wins games and our defensive identity is going to have to improve significantly, if we expect to win in the tough ACC. I hope one of our bigs will give us a tough interior presence on defense and an inside scoring threat.

There are going to be some very unhappy players next season. The grass isn’t always greener, even though a slick agent may say so. Again, just feel bad for HCFLJ. She pours her heart into her players. At least Olivia Schmitt is focused on next season. My daughter sent me an Instagram screenshot of her working out with Uche and mentioning losing “her sisters”.

I was a bit surprised she didn’t get a little more playing time. She was a good rebounder when she played. Above in a post it mentions she was high school friends with Angelica Velez and actually had redshirted at Miami before heading to SU. She had very good size at 6’4” and I had hoped she and Uche could team up and eventually offer variety at the center/power forward spots.
