My guess is that the Edwards opportunity appeared and the staff felt he was a four year guy with more upside. I would take Edwards over Dimon, especially given Dimon’s off court issues. Lots of red flags with Carrigan. Edwards looks really promising to me. I think he is going to be the best big we have by the end of the season.

At the very least he could be insurance for a year depending on who decides on leaving. Gotta wait and see what happens with the portal for us once the season ends. Kid is definitely a natural shot blocker but idk.

Iirc he was always reposting cuse stuff back when he was in high school. Seemed to be personally pretty high on cuse back then, what could have been.

I would too. Won't scare off Jesse/Frank and its obvious we arent going after any high profile bigs in the portal. This is depth and honestly a net positive in replacing JBA.
