I’d love to see him play SF/PF instead of PF/C but I don’t think they’ll do it. They won’t have the size at center

Don’t be too sure. He can defend at the three and with shooters in the backcourt he would be fine.

Agreed. I’ve been thinking about Iowa State hiring TJ Otzelberger as a blueprint for Gmac. The Steve Prohm 2-22 debacle year was followed by Otzelberger turning them around in a few years to 22-13, then 19-14, then 29-8. He did it without a lot of blue chip recruits and top portal players at first. Now he has them humming. It may take a minute for Gmac but we need to see a steady improvement in the W-L record and clear demonstrable improvements in the offensive and defensive schemes.

Even though that wasn't long ago it was early enough in the NIL era that I think the landscape will be less tolerant of that approach to program building.
