That does make sense. Chill, we got a couple bigger fish on the line, if we whiff, we got a spot for you.

Player from the new coaches old school with a very similar profile as Folefac signs with GT. So unless he runs two very similar forwards in his system starting lineup, looks like some competition there.
This kid can help us. I say spend the money. Knows the system, plays tough d and can score a bit.If the kid has an $800,000 offer on the table from Ga Tech and hasn’t pounced on it yet, it’s likely because:
1) we’re going to counter and maybe match or come close, or
2) He doesn’t have an $800,000 offer from Ga Tech
Assuming the starting offer is real, how many players from a low mid major would turn down a "guarantee" to start at an ACC level school? That's his best play - to bet on himself.Realistically, Folefac is a bench player. His best bet is to come to Syracuse with a familiar coach and system unless he’s hellbent on starting.

who do you want to spend the money on, Folefac or Freeman? Only so much juice in the OrangeThis kid can help us. I say spend the money. Knows the system, plays tough d and can score a bit.

Totally different positions aren’t they?who do you want to spend the money on, Folefac or Freeman? Only so much juice in the Orange
Yes. But we have a set amount we can spend. Where do you want to spoend it? A starting center? A back up power forward. A pt guard to competre with the other pt guard. Only so much dough to go around.Totally different positions aren’t they?
Sounds like the remaining plans are being held up for how our pursuit for the starting center goes.Yes. But we have a set amount we can spend. Where do you want to spoend it? A starting center? A back up power forward. A pt guard to competre with the other pt guard. Only so much dough to go around.
He also plays a position where we have someone in front of him. He is in my opinion, a luxury. Center is a position of dire need.I want Folefac.
He plays his ass off, is only a freshman and did well in his games with Indiana and Duke,
And he takes real pride in his defense.
We were told we had enough money for Wilkins and Freeman though…Yes. But we have a set amount we can spend. Where do you want to spoend it? A starting center? A back up power forward. A pt guard to competre with the other pt guard. Only so much dough to go around.
So people think there’s only enough remains NIL for 2 players? We were told we had enough money for Wilkins and Freeman though…
Maybe we do. That doesn't mean we should spend it on Wilkins or that we could outspend Kentucky if they really want a kid. We have money. We have bought some good players so far. They haven't been inexpensive although some here like to think they are bought at Filenes basement. We have money left. I have to think they know what they want to spend it on. People can disagree with them, of course, But someone has to make those decisions and in this case, it's Gerry. We were told we had enough money for Wilkins and Freeman though…

I hope they don't think that but it depends on how much we spend on our center and whatever other players we are in the market for.So people think there’s only enough remains NIL for 2 players?
At this point, we have no backup 4.He also plays a position where we have someone in front of him. He is in my opinion, a luxury. Center is a position of dire need.
I say we get a center then worry about depth after. I think we have a solid core right now. Get a center then fill out the benchI hope they don't think that but it depends on how much we spend on our center and whatever other players we are in the market for.

Who plays when white gets in foul trouble.
Tasmin? Doty? Tobiason? One of the Euro dudes?
Folefac has a big body that frankly can play quite physical
6 foot 7 and 245 pounds
No one is moving his tank of a body,
He could play at the 4 and 5 if needed.
And proved with Kennedy, he can defend any position, even PG,
That’s not my idea of a luxury, but a need.
You missed the entire point. Try getting out of the Siena bubble and see what SU actually needs to be successful. I'd like Folefac as well, but not instead of our starting C, and that's what this is starting to sound like.At this point, we have no backup 4.

Dasher, who are we looking at for center? Have the names been released?I hope they don't think that but it depends on how much we spend on our center and whatever other players we are in the market for.
