Class of 2025 PF Francis Folefac (MD) TRANSFERRING TO SYRACUSE (4/27/26)

Thankful that FF finally planted his flag, ending need to check this thread and keep learning MANY things...

JHJ obviously spent the extended delay very productively, upping his game for this announcement!

Good JHJ-theme GIF for future NIL Waiting Room marathons ;):

Doty improved his 3 point shooting % from 28 to 32 last year.
He has said his primary focus this summer is to improve his 3 pt stroke up to 37, 38. I think he gets there, GMAC said last year he just has to remember the proper stance because he has the necessary stroke.
And it is money that he will be on the floor in the last 5 minutes for his defense and his 85% for free throws.

I think Dual will bring some stability to the PG position. He plays with defensive intensity and does not turn the ball over. If we had only had that with Nait George.

I also think as the season progresses Moesch will see significant time. He just won player of the year in a very tough prep league. He has all the tools I think, the question is if he can physically handle it.
Supposedly he is quite good at sinking 3s, a 247 analysis of him last year said he had the capability to go off and just make 3s from everywhere.

I also think Kiyan will greatly benefit from a coach who emphasizes hard work, accountability and who has surrounded him with like minded players. No throwing up wild shots anymore, I think he will buy in on being part of a system where he will get his shots if he is in the right spots. Dual will get him the ball.

Doty will have no fear about getting into Kiyans face to make him work hard and pay attention. Sadiq will also benefit from this as well. Frankly, seeing what this no real background kid accomplished against Duke, when they basically played the same team awfully, will give him street cred.

I also think Tobiason will also continue to improve. I could see him also running the point if the situation requires it.

I feel so much more hopeful than I have the last 2 years.
I very much appreciate your positive attitude and very importantly the fact that you don't seem to take offense to individuals who think your take is funny. I hope they eat their words and reevaluate their entire disposition. My gosh that last part was me actually trying to stay positive. In any event I appreciate your outlook. I also think if the kids fully buy in we are going to surprise some people and Folefac Is going to push SW only for good and I totally love that. Mainly because he is so physical. I hope KA, Keeps the faith and keeps working and has fun with his brothers. I hope he reads this as well. Blessing

This is awesome. Really looking forward to next season. Get a point guard and things are set.

I love the experience. I love the idea that some guys have played together. I love Gerry's passion and his staff that he has put together.

What I don't love is people who worry what some players are supposedly being paid thru NIL. The market is the market. It doesn't matter that many people think these players are being paid too much. As long as there are NIL donors, it is what it is.

Definitely plays hard from the limited games I saw. Emphasis on limited. And he’s strong. Problem I have is what position will he play? Seems like he’s exclusively a 4 man. I anticipate him struggling against longer players inside.

15’ guy off the bench though, fine with it.

Does anyone know what these kids are getting for $. The answer is NO!!!!!
NIL CBB is like trying to follow an NBA teams offseason but where numbers of the deal are never released but ppl still argue passionately about it being a good deal or not

The market sees a Sophomore in Doty and a Freshmen in Folefac playing at a mid major and competing hard against Duke and led an injured Siena team to a MAAC championship.
Low major.

Low major.
It's simple math. There are 31 conferences. Take out the P5 and that leaves 26 conferences. The MAAC ranked 13th out of the 26 conferences. That sounds like mid to me.

But if you take away the P5 (high major?) then your list begins with mid majors. I would think half way down that list would be low major.

Top of the conference is consistently within the top 200 in Ken Pom out of 350 plus teams. That’s right in the middle of the country.

It's nice you found the one scout on twitter that thinks he has NBA potential.
There are a bunch. Here is another one.

Don’t know what the Siena players are going to do for SU. It will definitely play a role in how good the team is next season.
