This kid is faaaarrrr more than just a cat rescuer.

Yeah, he dunks it.
A LOT.
That’s a Good Thing.
Hak approves.

But he’s got some all around hoops skills and IQ.
Several nice passes - some off the dribble!

Love the Dirk step-back fall away J.

There’s lots to work with here.
Plus athlete, great motor, has some skills already.

I wonder if getting two guys from the same school might be what counts as building some continuity in a program nowadays.

Probably not a huge effect, but maybe helps a little bit.

Also Ibrahim is going into his 3rd year of college basketball. He redshirted his first season. So he hasn't played a ton but he's familiar with hoops at this level.

Legit never heard of him but we do need like 5 more bodies
This is a good get. We need what he can bring in a reserve role. I think Freeman will be in the NBA if he has a healthy year. This player can be reserve 4/5 this year and if he develops...

Here is what im hoping for next season. First that we have chemistry that the kids get along. Last year never seemed to fit.
Second that Red focuses on no more than 8 players and lets them connect. Let them come together. He doesn't need to be JB but he can't expect to build a team by rotating as much as did last year. It was an enormous cluster. As bad as I have ever seen, and I hope that he learned from it.
Finally, I want him to love the kids up but make it tough love. No more coddling. Take a chapter from Fran.
At this point it looks like we are going to have a roster that can hang. It's going to come down to coaching and effort. We are not going to buy our way into the dance. We will still need to earn it, but it does look as if we are going to have the talent to compete. Hats off to Red, Kline, JW, and the boosters that have stepped up. Last season was a nightmare. Sad. Its good to have a little wind in our sails.

It’s important that we are taking the talent from ACC middling teams and not losing our talent to bigger programs anymore. Also early.

Right now Cuffe, Petar, Moore, Bell, Westry are in the portal with “interested parties” but not landed. At least I don’t think they landed? Let that sink in. 0 of 5 of our guys that left have a home. That says a lot about their talent level.

Well said. I will say one thing though, is that last year while we did not have on court chemistry, it did feel like the guys were close off the court. Which the prior year despite the better record, it felt we didn’t have any of that. I’m feeling more confident we could have the perfect storm with on and off court chemistry with this group they are putting together. It’s exciting!

Go back to your local Y and clean up the loads like you were meant to do please.
How about you stop being **** and discuss our lack of talent and our failure to improve that fact
