Needs to go down a levelLook out here….
Based on... ?Needs to go down a level
Good lord I forgot about Peter Carey lol.People have to realize not every player we get is going to play and be a significant contributor. It’s just impossible to have every player be a significant contributor. He’ll have 4 years, move wayyyy closer to home, he’s a skilled lefty, not super athletic but not a horrible athlete either. He’s a player you keep in your program, get his weight up, and he becomes a significant contributor when he is an upperclassmen.
Also it’s not like he’s a hugeeee project. Some of the guys like Souare, Peter Carey, etc….have been huge projects. This kid is better than those kids. Yes he still does need some work. But it’s not like he’s bad lol. I fully expect us to be in with this kid and Estrella.
The fact he didn’t play at lsu who was bad last year. I mean it’s either he redshirted because he’s bad or he needed to build his body.Based on... ?

Let’s hope backupWould be solid backup type player.
Pair him with Najai HinesWould be solid backup type player.
I mean, at least the “Freshman Fifteen”, right?
I managed to do that, and I was starting at 135.
Where’s the want-to??!!
Would agree but it’s not 2015. If no rule change to current system expect money to lead the way on the loyalty train.People have to realize not every player we get is going to play and be a significant contributor. Not every kid thinks just money. A lot do, sure. Gihool is from PA, Cuse is a lottttt closer to PA, than LSU. Gihool and Estrella have great relationships with G-Mac. Gihool could probably move down to a mid major or lower conference team and get some good minutes right away. Some kids are fine waiting a year or two at a big time program to get their shot as upperclassmen and want that power conference experience. At the end of the day, these kids go to practice every day. They know how they stack up against their teammates. I’m sure Gihool was at LSU and saw he needed to get better. I’m sure he’ll come to Cuse the same way, work his ass off with G-Mac and AO. And hopefully by his junior year he’s playing like a seasoned vet in this systemWould agree but it’s not 2015. If no rule change to current system expect money to lead the way on the loyalty train.
I hope we are involved with Hines. He could be AO 2.0 with his build. Averaged 2.2 blocks and 5.5 rebounds in 18 mpg as a freshman at Seton Hall.Pair him with Najai Hines
Watched some SH's game this year and he played pretty decent coming off bench. Wouldn't mind seeing them get involved with Big O from Providence as long as his price tag isn't outrageous.I hope we are involved with Hines. He could be AO 2.0 with his build. Averaged 2.2 blocks and 5.5 rebounds in 18 mpg as a freshman at Seton Hall.
