As much as you would like this to be true. It won't. It is obvious from your messages that you want him gone. You think the grass will be greener on the other side. You may even be correct about the grass. But you won't get to find out, and there will be countless messages from you over at least the next year saying essentially the same thing. The reality is that it would take quite a bit more than the past few years, plus another miserable year, and a recruiting class considered by you to be inferior to find JB on the edge of the chopping block. I also think you are probably smart enough to know that is true. But your not likely to admit it, are you? In the end, SU will end up missing out on a few 2018 kids that it will have wanted, and it will have to settle for a few plan B's. But, I feel pretty confident that in years to come, we SU fans will look back at the 2018 class of kids quite fondly. I have a strong feeling that the 2018 class will be a very good one. Of course, I am a fan of the program, so I tend to think positively and be hopeful about the future of the program. At least, that's what I thought a fan was supposed to be like. But then again, it's hard to tell when I read too much of the SU Basketball & SU Basketball recruiting forums. Maybe I need to go back to the football thread where real optimism shines.
