Class of 2023 PF Tasman Goodrick (Australia) TRANSFERING TO SYRACUSE (4/8/26)

Him and Delone Carter use same workout program

I once was in the Men's Wearhouse an Erie Boulevard when Delone Carter came in.

The salesmen tried to put four different suits on him, going increasingly larger each time. Not one of them, no matter what size, could he fit his biceps through the arm holes.

Dolone couldn't even get mad, he just laughed and thanked the sales guy and left.

I'm guessing he wears a fully custom suit from that day forward.

Fwiw I talked with a players father today and he said Goodrick will be much better then people think. Said he's a nice player.
Listen for all the board howling about our bigs being skinny and weak, at least this guy has been dedicated in the gym and can play some physical ball. I am down with that. There's another center we supposedly are looking at and he is 190.

I really hope he can play serviceable minutes, but so far he is completely untested. He played 9 games last year against really bad DI competition and he did OK in most of them. At Gannon, he struggled against other good big men (I saw one of those games in person), and only averaged 55% from the field. I say only, because an ACC caliber big man should absolutely wipe the floor with PSAC competition. All of his highlights from Siena are of him getting the ball in space and converting a wipe open layup or dunk. He looks fundamentally sound, and strong enough to provide a little resistance, but I'm skeptical that he will be a major piece of the rotation.
