Would also mention the league he came from is like THE developmental league for European prospects. It isn't the best competition but it's extremely famous for developing young players. As long as these wonky eligibility rules are in place, it would be very wise for us to try to establish relationships there.

A little surprising with all the money we supposedly have, but I also don't hate it. Seems like good value for this guy, Cox, and 3M.

On the other side he’s a walking mismatch. Big guy but moves well and takes his man to the rim if the matchup allows and at least has the ability to stretch the D and make an open 3.

I was wondering. Now with no rules what prevents a team from getting a European player 26 to 30 that’s been playing pro for years. Provided they can qualify academically and is that even a rule anymore. Maybe a school just hires an entire European team.

Yeah, between his euro experience and the Mountain West, where they do play respectable basketball, the thing about a skill like rebounding is it does travel. I'm not saying if we get him he for sure stays a 10 rebound a game guy in the ACC (because they are super rare), but he would be a plus rebounder still.

You can work with that on both ends of the floor.

Also, sounds like Tasman Goodrick is an aggressive rebounder, so we’d be more likely to have that skillset/mentality on the court at all times. I’d also envision that if Sadiq can put on 10-15 lbs that he’d be that much more effective on the boards as well.

Sadiq needs to get stronger to help with being a rim protector by committee as well if we don’t bring in a big time shot blocker.

The offensive boards in particular is what stands out. 4 a game is a lot. Donnie gave us 1 Off Board a game this year.

Sadiq will get better here. Most of the ingredients are already there for him to rebound pretty well.

100% -- this guy would be the starting center. 250 pounds, 23 years old, grown a$$ man. Doesn't matter if he's a rim protector -- he would be like Arinze. Oh, and guess who would be coaching him here?

If we could somehow land this player, it would be the sneaky great add, like how Kyle was last year. And then he would kill it and people would wonder how we landed him for "only" $800K or whatever.

The rebounding numbers are astounding, as was his performance against better teams. He would kill it here.
