We have a 4 star former UF backup who looks like he's never played the position before who has been in the program for a couple years.

Zach Mahoney, a walkon, threw for like 500 yards and 5 TDs in Pitt in 2016. Zach Mahoney wins that game easy yesterday.

There are backup QBs across the nation that are better prepared that anything we've seen out of Syracuse backups lately. At this point walk-ons from HCSS are better QBs than what Dino and Beck are developing.

I said he hasnt held on to a single major recruit. He hasn't. Sellers was a Syracuse commit and flipped. So I made it easier for you for your defense of him. I lowered the bar. Which are as QB coach under Coach Anae? So far on his own accord he has accomplished little to distinguish himself. Brandon Streeter was a well accomplished QB coach too. Coached some major QBs at Clemson from 2015-2022. He got fired midway through his first year as an OC in 2022.

He may be a pretty good QB coach and a lousy OC. He may even become a good one. This year, his first year, has been pretty bad. We aren't Clemson so I wouldn't ever expect us to fire a guy in their first season. But I wouldn't be sad to see him go either. He hasn't been able to hold a single major recruit. Our QBs certainly haven't developed well. So based on empirical evidence, he has been unsatisfactory.

You started the word games with your “hasn’t held on to a single major recruit” when the N is only one- Sellers. This year is only his second recruiting class. Asking about his track record here is silly.
