Tackling has been terrible. Dead last. Ugh. I don't see how our pass rush is 6th. That doesn't seem correct to me. I'm sure most if it is because we often rush just 3 but still doesn't seem like it should be that high to me.

Yes, pass rush was the only one that didn’t look right to me. I’ll dig in and see if I can figure out why.

State blitzed heavy last night. The line did a good enough job (2 sacks) and McCords quick decisions obviously help. I think it’s a little bit of both. But this line is much better than last year.

NC State was good prep for Pitt. They seem to be blitz heavy as well. Not sure McCord is the right guy to blitz a lot. We have so many weapons and he is intelligent and experienced enough to find those weapons.

yup. followed by run blocking. but, for as bad as STs have been, missed tackles tops the list for me.
