I don’t know if Spoon is hurt or not, but he was beat before the ball was even snapped.

His stance. His first few steps after snap. If he isn’t hurt, I don’t understand how it’s justifiable to play him ever again.

I’m not lying when I say that if we played Ole Miss’ front seven that McCord wouldn’t make it to halftime uninjured.

Shoulder injury.

On the game’s most critical play, Syracuse left Weatherspoon one-on-one with Ezeiruaku. The defensive end won the matchup up, wrapping up McCord and eventually working the ball loose.

After the play, Syracuse replaced Weatherspoon, who head coach Fran Brown said is battling a shoulder injury. Reserve offensive tackle David Wohlabaugh fared batter the rest of the game.

In addition to Weatherspoon’s shoulder issue, Syracuse center J’Onre Reed has also been slowed by injuries for much of the year. He split time with Josh Ilaoa on Saturday.
