That is so off base lol. Wagner has gotten better every single season. He would be a considerable upgrade over JJ. Now where does that get us overall idk. A guy like him raises the floor. It would be a solid pickup.

If the connection to Fran is real and that can lower the price, I dont see the issue. You have to fill the roster somehow, and not many teams have enough money to most likely field a completely new team.

Syracuse might only have two returning players. Not all can be home run hits; you need a roster.

His stats are awful. He shot 29% in SEC play from 3 this year and 26% last year and was benched. He has a career PER of 11.6. JJ was 12.8. 1.5 million for this guy would be lighting money on fire.

He would be the best on-ball defensive guard we’ve had since Kadary and have the quickest first step since Judah. It’s been a long time since we’ve had a pg who generates rim pressure on one end and prevents it on the other. He’d be a great 3rd or 4th option role player (especially if we keep Donnie or add some sort of wing/big as our primary scorer), but I think he should probably go somewhere where he can be the main guy, since sacrificing for his team in a smaller role at UK and Arkansas has already sidetracked his career

There's no productivity that backs up any of this. He's been a net negative on the court his entire career.

All I'm saying is that it wouldn't be egregious to sign him in the portal. Would I be jumping up and down for joy like we poached Silas Demary from UConn, no. But it would be a solid pickup that raises the floor for my outlook on next season.

lol one guy isn't even signed yet. We did sign a good shooter yesterday.

Agree. But Doty has improved from deep each year. That can continue.

Also, coming into college, Kiyan was known for his range. He just needs to get his confidence back.

Let's also add that GMAC signed a kid who shot 49% in FIBA U18.
