How much we offering for a MAAC guard? We will see if Mack is a program savior but I tend to doubt it. I sure wouldn’t spend all my money on an Ivy League point guard.

It does not matter where they come from. Donovan Clingan played HS ball in a very mediocre conference. He just kept getting better and better. Players develop all the time. I think we need to trust that we will get the best players we can afford. You want five stars, start writing five figure checks, 6 figures if you have it.How much we offering for a MAAC guard?
We’ve been looking for a point guard, but it’s so hard to findIs the gamblin commission hangin on by the skin of their teeth?
Is it?That’s kinda messed up
Syracuse has had combo guards for a decade, how has that worked out?He can actually play both positions. You’re making a big deal about the label he has. That makes him more valuable as a combo guard he’s able to contribute on the court in more ways.
they are spending money on a MAAC shooting guard, why not go after someone who fits the position of need?We will see if Mack is a program savior but I tend to doubt it. I sure wouldn’t spend all my money on an Ivy League point guard.
They clearly think he does.they are spending money on a MAAC shooting guard, why not go after someone who fits the position of need?
yeah, but they don't know as much about hoop as he does. They clearly think he does.
He’s not just a shooting guard. Stop with that. He payed point most of last season and is a willing passer.they are spending money on a MAAC shooting guard, why not go after someone who fits the position of need?

They didn’t have good enough players to win, it had nothing to do with some guard labeled a CG . LollllSyracuse has had combo guards for a decade, how has that worked out?

Sooooo... is he still visiting Nova after they got a commitment from the Penn kid?
Seems as though Nova has a full roster to rebuild. So I would bet there could be room for both.
Hope not. He’s gonna go to Nova, Jyare is no longer interested after being mad about a tweet, Freeman is asking out of his LOI, JJ is NBA bound and we are going to give Brooklyn the wonder kid from FL the keys to the offense. Gonna hold as many schollies as possible for a monster 25 and 26 class.

I believe he had his fingers crossed when he promised not to tell. So, he's good. You weren't suppose to tell.
Decades, actually. For the most part, it's worked out pretty well.Syracuse has had combo guards for a decade, how has that worked out?
It’s not a label, it’s a play style. If you’re going to just argue semantics and add no substance to a discussion then why bother responding? Do you think the play from the 1 has been good since ennis? That is because they haven’t had a real PG step foot on the court for significant time. Maybe Kadary was the closest? Outside of that, nottaThey didn’t have good enough players to win, it had nothing to do with some guard labeled a CG . Lollll
Agree 100%, Flynn, Carter- Williams- Pearl, Scoop, Gillon, All these guys could score/ handle and would say they were combo guards. We also have had a number of point forwards like Melo, Gbinje and others who could handle, score, and pass. The days of true PG play have mostly left the game with the 3 point line IMO.Decades, actually. For the most part, it's worked out pretty well.
Come on. MCW and Pearl specifically were not combo guards. You consider Isiah Thomas or John Stockton a combo guard cause they could score too?Agree 100%, Flynn, Carter- Williams- Pearl, Scoop, Gillon, All these guys could score/ handle and would say they were combo guards. I think for some, scoring guards = combo guards, though I don't even think that really applies to MCW. He was absolutely a pass-first guy. Was he even top 3 on our team in scoring that year? He was as good a distributor as we've had in awhile.Come on. MCW and Pearl specifically were not combo guards. You consider Isiah Thomas or John Stockton a combo guard cause they could score too?
Such a terrible point you’re trying to make. Tyler was an NBA player and very skilled. Recruiting this whole past decade pretty much has been the reason why the team hasn’t been good. We had no center worth anything for a long time too, you think that doesn’t kill the team. It’s not a label, it’s a play style.
